Revamping a few cards

I've decided that some of my older cards are a little... well, for lack of a better work, crappy looking. I did them to the best of my ability, at the time, but I feel like they were ill conceived. I understood what I was going for, but I just wasn't capable of achieving the overall look I wanted. It has been over a year since I first set out to make these cards, and, initially, I wanted to just create the game, but now I have the chance to add some things that'll make it look better than it did, I'm going to take it.

Here is what the first card looked like, and did.

Updated art

and here is the updated art and card's abilities.

I think it's a great improvement over it's predecessor, but that could just be me. What do y'all think?

Play testing

I have had the cards for about 2 weeks now, and, as I try to finalize the rules, i have learned 3 things.

Firstly, it's hard to play test a game when my wife, family, and friend don't like, or play TCGs. I have literally asked all of them, and the 1 person that was supposed to help isn't responding to my text messages.

Next, there are several things I need to correct with how certain cards work. They sounded great on paper, but, now that I have them, I have to amend them so they aren't underpowered. Crazy, I didn't think I'd use that term for my legendaries.

And, finally, I really am excited about the game! I can't wait to see people playing it. With Greenhorns Mining I get to see those that purchased the game, and it makes me so proud, but I have dreamt of my TCG for 10 years, and now to have it realized is surreal.

If you want to see the unboxing hit the link below, and I'll start getting some 'how to play' videos up soonish.
