The game is in!

The cards for the TCG are here. I'm so excited. I'm working on building 2 decks now to play with and record.

Artistic blockers

I'm so thankful I got much of my work done before this week. Aside from normal family drama, in just this year, we had 2 deaths in the family, my mom was checking to see if she had cancer, thankfully was just a benign tumor, septic tank collapsed, and roof leaked so bad some of the ceiling broke into the house and I used a lot of it as reasons to stop developing Heroes Defense.

I had to be intentional about being artistic.  There were days I was so emotionally drained I didn't when want to look at a pencil, but I set aside time where I would force myself to do something artistic; be it writing or drawing I still didn't move until I did something. This really helped me get out of my dry-spell and find an oasis of creativity.

6 months ago, if you had asked if I was going to finish the game, I would have said, "no," or "probably not." I even considered decreasing the card count, but in my mind, that wasn't an option. All 155 cards are done except for 1, and that's soon to come for the Kickstart-er.

Here we go

I know, it has been a long time since I last posted anything on here. I have been discouraged, encouraged, discouraged, and eager time and time again. If you have followed me for any length of time, you'll know that I do well at posting, and then get so side tracked that I completely forget.

This is what has happened. I have not stopped working on the game, but I have been so busy with other things posting here and on my other accounts don't really come to mind, just being honest.

I've done it!

I have finished nearly all of the game, and I am so excited! Now, when I say nearly all of it, I mean that the only thing left to do is to play test it, clean up the rules and we have finished! I'm so thrilled. I will post a video of me getting the cards and opening them. It's been a long year, but I am ready to do this.
